Gas Cylinder
Just finished my first keg of Guinness using my home kegerator system. I have a 20lb tank using the nitrogen/CO2 Guinness mix. I was dispensing at about 30-32psi which seemed about right. Wondering how long my tank should be lasting. The pressure regulator is reaching the red zone already just under 500. Started out just above 1500. Is this normal? Does the gas need to remain on constantly while the keg is tapped to remain fresh? That's what I've done. Or can it be shut off when not in use. Thanks.
