I recently installed the resistor on the Danby and it is def doing its job. The liquid temp is now ~37 deg. I keep my CO2 tank inside the refrigerator.

Before installing, the HP read at ~500 psi. Now it is well below 500 psi.

I weighed the 5# CO2 tank and it weighs ~12lb, indicating I have about 4.5# of CO2 left (tank has a tare weight of 7.5).

What should I trust the CO2 tank weight or the Regulator reading?

Could it be the Danby regulator is really no good or should I expect a big decrease in HP reading as the temp gets really low?
