I can't answer for Catfish, but I picked mine up on Thursday and put it together. It took about an hour to reverse the doors and install the tapping equipment. On Friday I got the co2 filled and bought a 1/2 half Keg of Coors Light, and tapped it. On Saturday I had a small party. It worked flawlessly. The beer tapping part is all Micromatic and the instructions are simple.
I have the refrigerator setting on "Normal" which is right in the middle, and the freezer set the same. The beer is 38 degrees and the mugs and pints glasses are frosty in the freezer. For 40 bucks I can get an Ice machine for it. But will wait to see if I need additional Ice.
I get Great pours of icy cold beer, first time every time. And just the right head. I just followed the instructions that came with it and set the co2 on 13.
After reading all the problems people have had here with their kegorators, I know I made the right choice.
I would recommend this product to everyone. For 700 bucks, you can't beat it. Catfish and I both got it on ebay. A few people sell them there, but one place has it for 699 plus shipping. I live about 50 miles from one of their warehouses so I picked mine up and saved the shipping. They charge 139. Catfish had his delivered and he said it came in good condition.
