I have been going back and forth between chest freezers and min refrigerators, but I think I am going with the 7.2 CU FT Chest Freezer as well. It is a good fit for my beer room.
In regards to your question: everything I have read about chest freezers is that they are more economical to run than refrigerators because of the increased insulation.
I have a question too: Does anyone know if I will be able to get a 1/2 keg of Guinness, 22lb Nitro Tank, One Cornie/1/6 keg and one 10lb CO2 Tank in a 7.2 CU FT Chest Freezer.
