Don't sweat forcing it into the hole. If you re-read my post, I didn't mention a flange, I just forced that bad-boy into the hole and put a couple of turns on it.
It'll work just fine.
$1.39 may be correct, and is probably what I paid. It's been over a year since I did the mod, and my memory ain't what it used to be
