Interesting.

I've never seen an expiration date on a keg, only a tag with the fill date.

What brand of beer(s) do you tap?

I once picked up a sixtel, (from a distributor for a local brewer), and the keg was already 2 months old. I tapped it and the beer tasted fine.

I spoke to the brewer, and he told me that, (with the exception of his high-hopped ale), that cold kegs kept under pressure would last at least 6 months without a very noticeable difference in flavor.
