Question Is there a "coupler" change w/ Coors/Killians?

I have bought several kegs in the past...typically bud / bud light / coors light / killians....I have a "D" coupler I beleive. I recently replaced a keg of killians w/ a new keg of killians ( and the keg itself has a coors insignia engraved on it so I'm assuming it's made by them, or at least the barrel itself was ) and I am not able to get my coupler or a hand pump coupler to work on this keg. I've had several friends try and it seems that there is a problem that the "teeth" ( for lack of a better word ) are not in alignment.

Do I need an "S" coupler for some reason or is there some other adapter I can purchase for this keg? I'm confused that I would need a new coupler since the one I've had for years has never had a problem?

Any help would be appreciated and I'll drink the first beer to you!
