PSKCowboy,

Welcome to the forum and congrats on joining the kegerator ownership club!

I don't drink Bud Light, but 38 degrees sounds like a good temp. However, 10 psi sounds low. Usually, it's 12-14 psi for most beers. You may get a better head @ 10 psi, but in about 2 or 3 weeks, you will begin to notice that the beer is getting a little bit flat. You'd be better off trying to get a good pour at 12-14 psi. Cooling the tower with a fan would be a good start.

As for cleaning... pipe cleaners & hot water flush will not suffice. You need to use a cleaning solution, you can find cleaning kits on this website. The hot water will not eliminate the bacteria, the cleaning solution will. It's kinda like washing your hands without soap.
