The choker line should go at the end of the run right before the shank. Splicers and tailpiece restriction is minimal if you are counting the very short length of hose that goes over it. 5" jumper with a sanke coupler is 1# extra resistance. Shanks are based on lengthand bore (3/16 1.2 #/ft 1/4 .30#/ft). For example a 4 inch 3/16 shank is 4 divided by 12 inch = .33ft x 1.2=.4 #) Koll rite towers are 7.5 # restriction
