You are correct in that you cannot replace just one line. The whole thing has to be replaced. How long was the root beer on tap? If it was for just a little while, you MAY be able to still use it for beer. If it has been on for any considerable amount of time, there is nothing you can do to to it except replace the whole trunk line. Tapman
