Well, the difference is that my tower is no longer going to be mounted to the Danby, it is going to be mounted on the top of the bar. So there is distance now from the top of the Danby to the underside of the tower. So I'll need to make the hole in the bar the same diameter of whatever tubing or duct work I'm going to use. I can't make a 3" hole and then use 1.5" hosing. I need to make sure that run of beer line between the bar and Danby is cooled.
I can do that exact setup as shown in the thread you linked to because I have that exact 1.5" ID hose. But from what I've been reading, it seems that would not allow enough airflow back down from the tower with two beer lines running thru that hose.
So it seems to me that I'll use 3" flex duct from the Danby to the bar (cutting a 3" hole in each for the duct to fit). Then have the beer lines running in that duct from the bar to inside the Danby.
The question is whether to just position the blower so it is blowing the cold air into that duct, or blow the cold air into another tube inside the duct to the top of the tower and let the cold air returning cool the beer lines?
