You may want to try and force air cool the cabinet the fridge is in. Have an air inlet down low and a fan or blower up higher to exhast the warm air. The blower you have now would work good for that. But that blower is too warm for your small fridge. It's like having a 30-35 watt light bulb always on inside. The DC powered blower setup that I use only gives off about 1.5 watts of heat, always feels cool to the touch.
