Thanks - yes, I think I may have a combination of two problems here. I can try to ventilate the cabinet sides, but not sure how effective that will be. I'm also told that theres a way to move the compressor behind the fridge, where there is air circulation - but I haven't figured out how to do that yet.
The fan is the little 15 cfm blower thats sold by Mircomatic - the motor does feel warm to the touch when its running.
So maybe its a combination of the lack of air circulation and the fan inside the cooler?
