Default Kegerator Fine tuning

Went through six kegs (quarters and halves) during a recent lakeside family vacation. Kegerator worked like a champ with every pour and was the hit of the vacation.

During some of the later kegs, we noticed that air would occassionally enter the beer hose between the coupler and the kegerator. You would see a big bubble of air traveling up the hose at times, followed by more foaming than usual. Obviously air was entering at the coupler. We reseated it a few times but never did completely eliminate the condition.

So...

How do I maintain the coupler seals so they keep all the air out? Do they need replacing at intervals? How long? Which seals and/or O-rings in the coupler assembly need maintenance/replacement?

I've read the FAQ but detailed help on the care of this important component would be most appreciated.

Thanks,

Wayne
