i have had a kegorator for a while now and still see a lot of foam at first...once you pour a glass of mostly beer the foam is not a problem. usually for me it is about the first glass and a half...after that it is not a problem.
the draught beer is much smoother than that of bottles and as long as your temp and co2 pressure are right on you should be able to enjoy the beer you have on tap. right now i have pabst...before that i had budweiser and am looking forward to michelob lager next. both bud and pabst have been ok but have not found that real good taste i have been looking for.
the foam should adhere to the sides of the glass as you drink the beer and leave a spiral pattern on the inside. remember not to wash the beer glass with normal dishwashing soap as it leaves a film on the inside of the glass and goofs up the taste of the beer. also when you pour the beer into the glass make sure you have wet down the inside of the glass...this helps to pour a less foamy beer than an dry glass.
good luck and let me know how it goes.
