A System - Keg Coupler - Tap w/ Short Ergo Handle

"A" system is commonly referred to as the German Slider because it slides onto the valve face. It is used by breweries such as Hoegaarden, Paulaner, Spaten, and Warsteiner.

Do all brands of beers use the same keg tapping equipment?

The keg coupler connects to the keg valve, "tapping" the keg. Both the gas line from the CO2 tank / regulator and the beer hose to the beer faucet attach to the coupler.

Stupid Plastic Handle

No doubt the coupler works great..unless you are using it for a sixtel keg. Was tapping my sixtel of Hoegaarden and thought I had purchased the wrong coupler cause it would lock. After a few minutes I realized the large plastic handle was hitting the rail on the keg. Got a screwdriver and hammer to pop it off..problem solved.

German slider for the win! Great coupler and I can't live without my Hoegaarden. Ergo handle is cool but unnecessary!
