Keg Storage Temperature

Maintain 38°F for the Kegs

Most draft beers, whether imported or domestic must be stored at 38°F and served at 38°F to the customer. Having the beer too cold can lead to over filling the glass, which reduces keg yield and profits. Having the beer too warm can cause foaming at the faucet, which also will reduce keg yield. Verify that the refrigeration unit you are using can properly maintain the required 38°F and if it can’t, seek repair or replacement.
