Why, you ask?  Oh, that’s because the greatest job in the whole wide world just opened up in the Canadian city of New Brunswick.  Moosehead Breweries, the independent beer manufacturer, is searching for a beer lover to oversee, and taste, every batch that comes out of their giant kettles.  That’s right beer lovers, the job of a lifetime became available last week when Moosehead posted the position on a few different job search websites.

Wide Selection of Beer Tap Handles

Just imagine waking up every morning knowing that you are going to a job where you get to taste beer all day long.  While your friends and family spend their days filling out TPS reports, sorting through emails and processing spreadsheets, you’ll be sampling, critiquing and talking about the world’s greatest beverage - beer!

“It’s the type of job that has you skipping to work,” says spokesman Levesque, adding it doesn’t mean you’ll be staggering home afterward.  According to Moosehead, the ideal candidate (lucky winner) will not be throwing back full beers all day long.  Small samples will be tasted, not consumed, for quality.

Moosehead is preparing for what they expect to be a deluge resume submissions.  According to Levesque Moosehead has had plenty of practice sorting through resumes of this nature, they’ve been receiving letters and emails from beer enthusiasts hoping to get a position on their tasting panel for years.

Apparently many would-be beer aficionados had the right idea all along.  While there is no salary posted and representatives from Moosehead are being tight-lipped about the compensation rate, there is one benefit that seems inherent - FREE BEER, anyone?
